  1. why do you never list bead quantities or how many beads to string for the first round? I find your lack of detail very frustrating and don’t know why you do it.

        • u will be surprised but i dont have any bussiness and dont make any money from those patterns, just allittle to pay website hosting and buy some beads. Its not my duty to make all satisfied. So you can leave, i dont hold anyone. Many people are happy and satisfied with what i do and i appreciate them and very thankful for their support and good words.

    • Good grief, Marty – how entitled are you? Even with basic beading skills, these patterns are superb and easy to follow. How rude. Keep it up, Beadsmagic!

    • It’s easy enough to count the beads you need. Your getting a free pattern. I am very thankful to get these. You are very rude. Etsy sells patterns for $6 to $20 for one!

  2. Good answer to Marty. I like the fact you don’t give specific information as it allows for changes regarding length and style to fit the individual. I look forward to your patterns and give my finished ones as gifts to friends and family..

    • I am like Marty that I find it difficult to see how many beads need to be in the work and it’s hard to make something without some more info. But If you don’t want to give any that’s your good right like it’s mine to go to another site and find the explanation I need. So I’ll never come back here again. As I see some of the comments then I only thing I can say is what a kindergarten this is. Goodbye.

  4. Marty, if you are able to count, you should be able to figure out how many beads are required for the first round. If you are not able to do that, you probably can’t make the piece anyway. I love getting these patterns and look forward to each and every one of them. Deb from Canada.

  9. I am amazed. Are those complaints for real. Here we are being given some of the most beautiful beading designs on the web and all for free and mostly so easy to follow. Marty- if you can count up to 10 what is your problem. Zoom in and get cracking. None of the designs I have seen will take more than 25grms of seed beads, No need to know how many you will need. Just pop them on your bead mat in little piles and count as you go along. I am recovering from a stroke and sometimes my brain will not talk to my hands and eyes so I have to keep checking, unpicking and doing again. Perseverence is the name of the game. Thankyou Beads Magic for sharing your skills with us. My thoughts are constantly with you and your fellow country men and women at his time.

  10. I stumbled upon your patterns many years ago. I have only ever made one and I modified the pattern. I gave it to someone and I wish I had not, so here I am to find my second pattern and I appreciate that you are giving these to us. Thank you! Anyone who does not understand the time this takes, UGH!

I usually make quilled paper art.

All of it is a gift and people need to respect the gift you are giving away.

  11. This one is so beautiful! Really want to try to do. Just one question, is a new thread taken for each new step to be taken? Or is it the same thread all the time? Or do you go back through the pearls to the beginning to start the on the next step (part?) Would be so happy for an answer, thanks in advance!
