    It looks like 8/0 or 9/0 seed beads. It appears to be a 5 or 9 bead tube. The blue arrow indicates that you load your beads in that direction – 1 black, 1 aqua, 1 black and so on. I would suggest googling a bead crochet tutorial.

    Actually after looking at other patterns, this one is definitely 9 beads per round.

    You string on pattern of beads shown 81 times then you work on 9 beads…I think that’s how it works..someone please correct me if I’m wrong…

    Most of the things you state happens to be supprisingly precise and that makes me ponder why I had not looked at this with this light before.
