Thank you for sharing! This is my first day as subscriber and I love this necklace. Going to make it with white pearls and crystal incomes. Can’t wait to get started!
Pattern and photo are lovely! I just have one small issue: The pattern shows 5 seed beads between the bicones, but the photo of the finished piece has only 3 seed beads between the bicone beads. I wonder if the drape of the finished piece will be the same if you follow pattern as drawn?
This is BEAUTIFUL, I have one question is string for the drop loop (picture #2) is that a completely different string from the string in photo 1? Thanks for sharing your lovely patterns, gonna make this for my daughter for the prom..hehehe
What a wonderful little necklace! The possibilities for variations are just endless, too – I’m doing mine in various Turquoise shaped beads with Red Coral and Solid Brass Beads and have made quite a few changes to the overall design – it’s working out really well! I turn to Beads Magic every day for inspiration – thank you! I’m only new to beading, but I hope to be able to send in pictures and patterns of my own simple work as soon as I learn how to do this (I’m not very ‘tech-savvy’, sorry!) and I can’t wait to share some of my own designs with other members. I think it’s important to try to make your own ‘interpretation’ of other member’s patterns rather than copy them exactly – even if it’s just to change the size & color of the beads or add/subtract a bead here and there, but I LOVE the generosity of Beads Magic and all of its members who so freely contribute to make it THE BEST beading website on the internet! Thank you so much to EVERYONE! Kindest and most sincere regards, Johnell
If you enlarge the picture you will see that there are indeed 5 (five) seedbeads between each crystal bicone. It’s just hard to see because the seedbeads closest to the crystals are clear. Hope this helps! I’m looking forward to making this necklace too.
