I am confused on how to do the second part of this pattern. I currently have two strings going for the first part. Could someone do a step by step instructions on what I do next?
I normally use wire for my beading and this would be my first project using string. Can you tell me what strength of string I would use or can I use a flexible wire?
Such a beautiful pattern! I’ve made it with lapis, with amethyst, with a combination of Rhodonite and ruby in zoisite and with white pearls, clear AB crystals and sterling silver 2mm beads. Super easy and really lovely. Thank you !

u must finish first part and then the second part u must start with a new thread

How do you taper the necklace to be widest at the front and narrower at the ends? Or is this the same throughout, and just illusion of the photograph?
Its the same throughout. But if u want to make it narrower just use the smaller size of the pearls
