Unusual paper jewellery made from books

It might not look it but all jewellery things above are literally made from the pages of usual paper books. Artist Jeremy May has devised a process for transforming books into jewelry using a “unique laminating process.”

He makes hos littlefly jewellery made by laminating hundreds sheets of paper together, then carefully finishing to a high gloss. The paper is selected and carefully removed from a book, and the jewellery re-inserted in the excavated space. Each thing is unique and impossible to replicate.

  1. I just have too like this one, it’s simply too clever not to. I really love the way that it also lets you keep books that may have had a special meaning to you through out your life even closer to your artistic journey, by using it to make one of your pieces. I love this medium and the beatiful pieces of jewelry it yielded this artist’s imagination.
